The problem to solve
JS Norte managed work orders for their workers manually with spreadsheets. The process was slow, error-prone and did not allow real-time visibility of field work: loaded hours, per diem, overnight stays and project assignment.
How we solved it
We developed a full-stack app with React 18 + TypeScript on the frontend (Material UI + Tailwind CSS) and Node.js + Express + PostgreSQL on the backend. The system includes three differentiated roles (admin, supervisor, client), worker management by project and category, timesheet recording with breakdown of travel/meal/overnight/relocation hours, Excel export with ExcelJS, image upload via Cloudinary and password recovery by email. Deployed on Vercel.
